About Us
Robert Krakoff , president, a life-long athlete
with a professional career in product branding and retail marketing,
created MindFX Science. In the late 90's, he co-founded the Razer brand and developed
a line of computer peripheral hardware. Through his relationships
with business professionals, amateur and professional athletes, he
documented the need for products that would sustain mental concentration
and coordination to provide a competitive edge. As a collegian and
professional athlete Robert recognized a need for mental focus, the
ability to concentrate in competitive environments and the desire
for improved reaction time and hand/eye coordination. His goal and
desire was to conceive and develop a herbal line of supplements and
beverages to enhance athletic performance. MindFX Science represents
the results of his vision. Today, Robert can be found every morning
on the tennis courts in San Diego competing, following ingesting
one Maxx Impulse and two Neurocharge tablets, his secret weapon.
Benjy Robins , athletes and events manager for MindFX Science,
owns BDR Management, an Arizona based company that represents professional
athletes. he is actively involved in client contract negotiations,
marketing arbitration, and consulting. Prior to BDR, Mr. Robbins
was the ATP's tour manager and director of marketing for 10 years.
Additional work experience includes National Tennis Promotions Manager
for Adidas and Manager of New Products Division for Octagon, one
of the biggest sports marketing firms in the world. During college,
Robbins was an Academic All- American and then became an internationally
ranked ATP tour player. He has coached at prestigious tennis clubs
throughout the country, as well as the No 1 ranked community college
team in the nation. He has also coached several highly ranked ATP
players.
Patsi Krakoff , also known as Dr. Patsi, is a California
licensed psychologist with years of expertise in cognitive behavioral
methodologies. Dr. Patsi works for MindFX Science on assignment in
the area of market research and neurosciences. Her article "Science
of the Mind" is currently featured on our BrainFX blog and on our research page . She
has worked with individuals and organizations in creating awareness
of behaviors, and discovering ways to change them in order to achieve
peak performance and results in a minimum period of time. She is
a Certified Business Coach and works with executives throughout the
United States and Canada. As an avid tennis player, she became aware
of how much one's mental capacities are important in a person's ability
to use their physical strengths. "You can have the best backhand
around, but if you are distracted by your inner thoughts or some
fleeting emotion, it may be too late to use your backhand effectively.
Staying focused and maintaining concentration is 90 percent of any
athletic game." It made sense to Dr. Patsi, that natural ingredients,
plants and herbs, and nutriceuticals that are scientifically validated
as beneficial to the thinking processes and the brain are a way to
keep the brain healthy. "So much is being offered to the public
that helps with physical strength and stamina, and there is so little
attention to the brain. Without mental fitness, there is no opportunity
to use your physical attributes." Now, with recent research
being done on the brain, we have an opportunity to offer new products
with natural ingredients that optimize the brain's functioning. Patsi
spends her days writing, playing tennis and providing a healthy home
to her two Maine Coon cats, Huey and Dewey, and her husband Rob,
in their home in Ajijic, Mexico. She is now taking acting classes
and has had her first leading role in the local little theatre, proving
that it is never too late to be young again.
